SCHULLER KITCHENS

MATT LAVA BLACK

Schuller Fino Matt Lava Black with AFP

The Fino Matt door fronts in this kitchen were a mix of Lava Black and Crystal Grey for a very stylish and on-trend handle-less German kitchen.

The open plan design with a large island  housed in a home extension is a very popular way to make the most of your kitchen/living space as a large space , single storey extension doesnt need the same load bearing walls that the original interior rooms need, which allows for a more open and minimalist design.

The use of contrasting white worktop and textured dark wood tones for the chunky breakfast make this island really standout and the under-counter lighting adds a fantastic finishing touch and really frame the island well, even in daylight as shown here.

The openers of the floor space is evident in this image and the extension with large windows and skylight offer so much natural light that even using Schuller's Fino Lava Black door doesnt make this a dark kitchen to look at.

The built-in recess for the American style fridge/freezer is more evident in this photo.

The Fino Matt Lava Black decorative panels work so well to make this very large appliance look built-in.

The dark wood chunky breakfast bar is a nice touch and a pop-up power socket housing was included to be in easy reach of the breakfast bar.

Schuller kitchens are certainly designed for life.

These over-sized drawer packs are rated to 50kgs so they can be used to house many pots and pans.

Shown here is a very ergonomic drawer separator and organiser which splits the large drawer in half and allows for pullout drawer organiser above the main drawer, shown here as a utensil pullout.

The contrasting Fino Crystal Grey can be seen in this photo, used for above counter wall units.

This image really captures the monochrome design really well as aside for the chunky, dark wood breakfast bar, the kitchen is black, white or grey.

Using good ergonomic planning and kitchen design, which plays to the strengths of the Schuller furniture, this design follows the 'kitchen triangle' principle in that food preparation zones are arranged around the three points of a triangle.

This principle design technique means that the food prep and cooking zones of the sink / worktop, hob and ovens are arranged so that they can be easily accessed without needing to go around anything and to be obstruction free.
